Description
The Gel Cushion is made of viscoelastic gel with highly elastic properties, the cushion surface acts as a second skin, perfectly moulding to the body shape in the sacral area, whilst reducing friction.
The Gel Cushion is designed to work as an enhancement to existing surfaces by providing an increased pressure distribution without compromising the patients posture. The gel provides a cooling effect for the user to aid comfort. The cushion is not recommended for use on a hard surface.
This cushion is only 25mm in depth, making it ideal for use on rise-recliner chairs and wheelchairs, as the arms of the chair can still be used as a barrier to prevent the user from falling out.
